Roosevelt Elk or coastal elk (Cervus canadensis roosevelti) at Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area operated by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife as a feeding area for upto 200 elk in winter. Jewell Meadows is about 50 miles west of Portland, Oregon.
